Sony has promised to update its Xperia 10 II and Xperia 10 III phones to Android 12 and after finishing with the latter it is now serving the first batch of updates for the Mark II.
The OTA update appears to be limited to Southeast Asia only, at least for now. The update package itself is 900MB large and has a build number 59.2.A.0.422. The security patch is March 2022 instead of February 2022, which the Xperia 10 III got.
This is clearly just a soak test, but we’re pretty sure Android 12’s global rollout is around the corner.
