@Tech_Reve on X chimed in with another report about Samsung on The tipster revealed that Samsung will use AMD graphics for its mid-range Exynos chipsets. The new GPUs will appear in Samsung’s mid-range products as early as next year.

The two companies have been working closely together for a while now as the GPU in Samsung’s high-end Exynos 2200 SoC is based on AMD’s RDNA2 graphics architecture, bringing technologies like ray tracing. The alleged mRDNA, however, will appear for the first time in the Exynos 1430 and 1480 and will focus more on the image processing side.

As it turns out, Samsung’s main focus is on improving the machine learning and image processing capabilities of its budget devices, and gaming performance probably won’t be the main focus.
