Samsung Week has officially begun, but it’s not like other weeks: for starters it will last 10 days. This is the time for Samsung US to offer big discounts on its smartphones, tablets, accessories and other electronic devices.
Obviously we will look at telephone offers first. These cover Samsung’s high-end with two S23 modes and two Z foldables, but there’s a deal on Samsung’s popular mid-range model, the Galaxy A54, too.
The Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5 deals include advanced trade-in, meaning you can send in more than one device to get extra credit towards your purchase.
The Galaxy A54 finds the sweet spot between flagship and mid-range models: it gets the S series’ level of software support but doesn’t cost as much as an S23.
If you don’t need the latest and greatest models, you can purchase refurbished 2022 Galaxy S series units at lower prices.
Even the tablet offerings are a mix of flagships and older, more affordable devices. The original Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 trio is available with discounts up to $800 and enhanced trade-in. The Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+ are still too new for discounts, but they come with a free Smart Book Cover.
Then there’s last year’s cheap but capable Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. Even though it’s a “lite” tablet, it still has things like stylus support and DeX. If you’d rather skip them and save even more, check out the 2021 Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 10.5.
Several older accessories have also dropped in price, starting with the Galaxy Watch5 Pro Golf edition. It’s from last year, but it still has the biggest battery of a Galaxy Watch and the fastest charging, too. The Golf Edition edition means that the golf courses are pre-loaded and there are some other benefits. The Galaxy Watch4 is also available at a lower price.
Then there are the Galaxy Buds2. These have active noise cancellation, IPX2 splash resistance, and wireless charging for the case.
We’ll wrap it up with options for upgrading your computer. If you need a new laptop, the entire Galaxy Book3 family is available on advanced trade-ins up to $600.
If you’re looking to upgrade a desktop PC, the Samsung 990 Pro SSD is available in 1TB and 2TB capacities at a 31% discount. Keep in mind that this is the heatsink version, but it can also fit into a PlayStation 5.
Alternatively, you can purchase external storage with the Samsung T7 Touch Portable SSD, also in 1TB and 2TB capacities. The Touch has a built-in fingerprint reader for added security.
Finally, how about a new monitor? There are several gaming monitors that work with PCs and consoles, as well as some that are basically Smart TVs.
