Samsung has confirmed that it will hold its next Unpacked presentation event at its home in Korea in the last week of July. However, the storyline is now thickening, as a new report claims there will be a separate Unpacked event for the North American markets (US and Canada), taking place in August.
Or rather, August 11, to be exact. It would be just over two weeks after July 26, when the initial Unpacked is said to happen in Korea (Samsung hasn’t confirmed the actual date yet, for whatever reason).
Unfortunately the source of this information didn’t share any further details, so we have no idea why Samsung would do things this way. This year is the first year that an Unpacked event is being hosted in Korea, so we can’t really set our expectations based on what’s happened in the past. And it’s fair to say that this is just a rumor at this point. Let’s see if it is confirmed or not.
The Unpacked event at the end of July is expected to feature the Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip5, Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9+, Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, Galaxy Watch6 and Galaxy Watch6 Classic/Pro.
