Samsung’s second generation smart tracker already went through NBTC and FCC a couple of weeks ago, so it’s only a matter of time before it hits the market. We also took a look at the SmartTag 2 from the FCC listing.
According to UK retailer MobileFunthe company will announce the SmartTag 2 in October, and we also got some renders of the device’s official look in two colors: black and white.

The new tag will reportedly support UWB connectivity by default, so you won’t have to spend more on a plus variant this year. It will probably also work with Google’s Find My Device feature, which is supported by all Android phones.
