Last week, reliable informant Ice universe said next year’s Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will feature a 50MP 3x telephoto camera, which they now claim will use a 1/2.52-inch sensor.
With this sensor, Samsung should get good image quality at 5x zoom, which is why there were rumors that the 3x telephoto lens on the Galaxy S23 Ultra would be replaced with a 5x telephoto lens on the S24 Ultra.

While Samsung is upgrading from 10MP 3x telephoto, Ice universe says the Korean brand it will continue to use the S23 Ultra’s 10MP 10x periscope camera, just like the 200MP main camera and 12MP selfie camera. It’s unclear whether or not Samsung will reuse the S23 Ultra’s 12MP ultrawide drive on the S24 Ultra.
