With Samsung’s foldables out of the way, the upcoming Galaxy S24 range leaks are likely to escalate. Today’s entry is about the Galaxy S24 and S24+ design change.

According to a reputable Samsung tipster, Ice universe, Samsung will probably flatten the side frame to be more in line with the look of Galaxy Z Fold5 and Z Flip5. Right now, the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ have a flat back but slightly protruding midframe, and that’s about to change.

Perhaps the decision is influenced by external factors as the design trends of the last couple of years are moving towards flat design and sharp edges. Or Samsung thinks this would further improve the design of the Galaxy S24 regardless of trends.

Either way, the report doesn’t mention the Galaxy S24 Ultra at all, so just like in the Galaxy S lineups thus far, the Ultra will be taking a different tack. Samsung usually differentiates the Ultra model with a slightly modified design to be more easily recognizable.
