iQOO announced the U5 last December and followed the U5x in March. Now the company has added a new member to its U5 series, dubbed iQOO U5e.
The iQOO U5e is powered by the Dimensity 700 SoC and immediately runs the Android 12-based OriginOS Ocean. It comes with up to 6GB of RAM and has 128GB of built-in storage, which is expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card .
The iQOO U5e is built around a 6.51 “60Hz HD + LCD with an 8MP selfie camera notch. It has a 13MP main camera on the back, coupled with a 2MP macro unit and flash LED.
The U5e packs a 5,000mAh battery that is charged via a USB-C port up to 18W. The rest of the highlights of the iQOO U5e include a side-mounted fingerprint reader, 3.5mm headphone jack and 5G connectivity.
The iQOO U5e is available in two colors and memory configurations: 4GB / 128GB and 6GB / 128GB priced at CNY1,399 ($ 210 / € 200) and CNY1,499 ($ 225) respectively / € 210). It is listed on the official website of vivo in China, but it is not known when it will go on sale.
