The launch of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series is expected to take place in February, and while we wait, Geekbench has revealed another test performed by the compact Galaxy S23 ahead of its announcement.

Samsung Galaxy SM-S911B whose identifier corresponds to the model intended for the international market carries a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and 8GB of RAM. The phone scored 578 points in the single-core test and 2,118 points in the multi-core department.

These scores are significantly lower than previous tests seen for the Galaxy S23, but again these are likely test devices, so discrepancies are normal.

Samsung is finally expected to bring a full lineup of Galaxy S Snapdragon phones this year with all regions getting the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip inside the S23. There are rumors that the European units could get an overclocked version of Qualcomm’s flagship chipset that managed an impressive 1,504 single-core and 4,580 multi-core scores on Geekbench.
