After a long teaser campaign, Xiaomi India has finally announced its Android Redmi Pad tablet. This is the first list in the Redmi range and offers an enthralling spec list along with competitive pricing.

Redmi Pad offers a 10.6-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1200 x 2000 px and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The screen is flanked by four speakers with Dolby Atmos tuning. The tablet is equipped with MediaTek’s Helio G99 chipset and can be configured with 3/4/6 GB of RAM and 64/128 GB of memory.

There are a couple of 8MP cameras on the board with the front one sporting a 105 ° field of view with FocusFrame, which tracks your movements during video calls. Redmi Pad is available in Graphite Gray, Moonlight Silver and Mint Green colors. Pricing in India starts at INR 12,499 for the 3 / 64GB version. You can get the intermediate 4 / 64GB option for INR 14,499 while the high-end 6 / 128GB model will sell for INR 19,999. Open sales are scheduled for October 5 at 10:00 local time via the Xiaomi India online store and partner retailers.
