Xiaomi’s Redmi lineup is all set to launch its K70 series on Wednesday, November 29 with no fewer than three smartphones. We expect a vanilla Redmi K70 alongside a more budget-oriented K70 Pro and K70E. We now have a set of live hands-on images detailing both the K70 and K70 Pro, complete with further clarification on the specs.

Both phones will feature 6.67-inch AMOLED panels with punch-hole cutouts and frosted-patterned glass backs. The back also features an updated camera design with a large glass camera island and three lenses each housed in their own metal ring. The fourth cutout is for the LED flash. Both K70 models will have a 50MP main camera with OIS, while the Pro model also offers a 2x portrait camera and an ultrawide lens while the vanilla K70 will instead offer a 2MP AI camera.

The settings menu confirms that both phones will ship with Xiaomi HyperOS 1.0.1 based on Android 14 and 12GB of RAM. The K70 Pro will be equipped with Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 while the K70 runs on what appears to be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. The Redmi K70E will debut MediaTek’s recently announced Dimensity 8300.

The Redmi launch event on Wednesday will also include the new Redmi Book 16 2024 Windows laptops, Redmi Watch 4 wearable, and Redmi Buds 5 Pro TWS earbuds.
