Realme introduced the Realme C55 last month with Mini Capsule similar to Dynamic Island, and as promised, the company today introduced the Realme Narzo N55, which is the second Realme smartphone to feature the Mini Capsule feature.

The Mini Capsule on the Realme Narzo N55 should work the same way as on the C55. It can show battery status, data usage and step count. However, the last two features will not be available out of the box (like the C55) and will arrive later via OTA.

Realme Narzo N55 boots Realme UI 4.0 based on Android 13 and has the Helio G88 SoC at the helm with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It also has a dedicated microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 1TB.

The Narzo N55 is built around a 6.72″ FullHD+ 90Hz LCD with a hole punch in the center for the 8MP selfie camera. On the back, it has two large circles for the 64MP main camera and a 2MP monochrome unit. MP.

The rest of the highlights of the Realme Narzo N55 include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, an UltraBoom speaker with audio tuning by Dirac, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also features a USB-C port and packs a 5,000mAh battery advertised to charge from zero to 50% in 29 minutes with the bundled 33W SuperVOOC power supply.

If this all sounds familiar, it’s because the Realme Narzo N55 is a rebranded Realme C55 with one less memory configuration. However, this is not the first time that Realme has launched a Narzo series smartphone as a rebranded version of a non-Narzo series smartphone.

In 2021, Realme launched the Narzo 30 5G as a version of the Realme 8 5G. And the rationale behind the launch of the same Narzo-branded phone this time is also the same: sales through different channels. The Realme C55 is sold through Flipkart in India, while the Narzo N55 will be available through Amazon.in. Of course, you can also buy it through Realme’s Indian official website.

The Realme Narzo N55 is available in Prime Blue and Prime Black colors and has two memory options: 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB, respectively priced at INR 10,999 ($135/€120) and INR 12,999 ( $160/€145). The 6GB/128GB version of the C55 is INR 1,000/$12/€11 cheaper). Sales will start on April 13 at noon local time in India, but we are yet to know the availability of Narzo N55 in other markets.

Our Realme C55 review is ongoing, but in the meantime, you can read our first impressions of the Realme C55 to learn more and the Mini Capsule to get an idea of what to expect from the Narzo N55.
