The Poco F5 and F5 Pro are now fully official and will go on sale globally. The pair have already done more than a few spins on the internet and we have a great overall picture of their specs.
The Poco F5 Pro offers a 6.67-inch 3200x1440px 120Hz AMOLED display with 1400 nits of peak brightness and up to 480Hz of touch sampling.
There is a triple camera setup on the back of the F5 Pro: a 64MP f/1.8 main camera with 1.4μm pixels, an 8MP f/2.2 fixed focus ultrawide camera and a 2MP f/2.4 macro camera. There’s a 16MP f/2.45 selfie shooter on the opposite side.
The Poco F5 has a 5,160mAh battery with 67W wired and 30W wireless charging. The 67W brick comes in the box.
You get IP53 splash protection, stereo speakers, an IR blaster, and Android 13 with MIUI 14 on top.
The Poco F5 Pro has a 4nm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and multilayer liquid cooling. RAM can be expanded using UFS 3.1 storage.
The Poco F5 Pro starts at $449 with a $429 upfront deal.
Moving on to the Poco F5. It’s watered down a bit to bring the price down even further. You get the same 6.67-inch screen diagonal, but the resolution is dropped to 2400x1080px. The panel still refreshes at 120Hz with a maximum touch sampling rate of 480Hz, but peak brightness is capped at 1000 nits.
The F5 also has the same cameras as the F5 Pro, both on the back and front.
There’s a slightly smaller 5,000mAh battery with no wireless charging, but the same 67W wired speed. The fast charger is also in the box.
The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 is the preferred chip and is paired with 8GB or 12GB of expandable RAM.
The Poco F5 starts at $379 with a promotional pre-order price of $329.
