Last year’s Poco F3 was an overwhelming success with arguably the best performance in its price range and Poco has decided to step up one this year with the Poco F4. We’ve already done the written review of that and now it becomes the latest phone featured in our video review series. Do the added updates make this device worth considering or is it better to look elsewhere?

The Poco F4 offers a Dolby Vision HDR compatible display, 67W fast charging, and a 64MP main cam with OIS. The phone also comes with Android 12 and MIUI 13 and has a squarer design with a larger rectangular camera cutout on the back. This sums up the major updates over the Poco F3 which already had a pretty solid all-round spec list.

One area where the newer phone falls short of its predecessor is battery life. Poco F3 achieved a 101-hour endurance rating in our proprietary tests, which is a downgrade from the Poco F3’s 114-hour score. The new 67W charging is a welcome addition and provides a full charge in just 38 minutes compared to the Poco F3’s 56 minutes with its 33W charger.

Our Poco F4 video review is out

The main camera images are detailed and offer balanced processing and accurate colors. The 2MP macro cam went a step below last year’s Poco F3, while the 8MP ultrawide module was on par.
