Oppo may simply be on a mission to totally confuse buyers and media alike. An Oppo Reno8 Lite 5G was recently launched in Spain. And just as the rumors predict, this is a renamed Oppo Reno7 Lite 5G, which itself is identical to the Oppo F21 Pro 5G for India. None of these have much to do with Reno8’s main trio. You can check the comparison of all three here.

A thorough overhaul of the Reno7 Lite 5G is also currently underway, so you can’t wait. Meanwhile, the European Reno8 Lite 5G has a 6.43-inch, FullHD +, 60Hz AMOLED display with a hole for a 16MP selfie camera in the top left corner. In addition, a fingerprint reader under the display. The rest of its cameras include a 64MP main snapper and two additional 2MP sensors, one for depth data and the other for macro shooting.

Powering the Reno8 Lite 5G is a Snapdragon 695 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM (expandable up to an extra 5GB via virtual memory) and 128GB of expandable storage. Keeping the light on is a 4,500mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

Some other random features include 5G SA / NSA support, a 3.5mm audio jack, NFC, and a basic IPX4 ingress rating. We also assume that the elegant blue ring aura lights under the rear cameras will also be present. The slim 159.9 x 73.2 x 7.5mm and light (173g) phone is offered in two color options: Cosmic Black and the much more interesting Rainbow Spectrum. The operator price for the Reno8 Lite 5G in Spain is 429 euros and should be available for purchase by the end of the month.
