The Oppo Find X5 Pro builds on the design of its predecessor, the Find X3 Pro (reminder: there was no X4), with a smooth and seamless rear panel. The Vanilla Find X5 used a separate element for the camera bump to stay as close to the design language as possible within its budget.

These may be the last examples of said design language, at least judging by the look of the vanilla Oppo Find X6. We haven’t seen anything official yet, but Evan Blass’ track record speaks for itself. Camera Island is back and more relevant than ever. Here’s a side-by-side comparison with the 2022 X-phones.

The Hasselblad logo has been slightly enlarged and there’s a faint ‘co-engineered with’ label above it to clarify that Oppo is an equal partner in this relationship. To this end there is also the “Powered by MariSilicon” label next to a newcomer: a periscope lens. The vanilla X5 used a traditional 2x telephoto lens, the X6 is getting an upgrade from its looks. This has led some to think that the image shows the X6 Pro, but according to Blass this is not the case.

Assuming that it is indeed the Oppo Find X6 and that the rumors are correct, there should be a 1″ (50MP) sensor inside the main camera, alongside a 50MP ultra wide module, as well as a 32MP sensor behind the periscope. In addition, this model is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 (while the Pro is expected to get Gen 2).

We do not yet have an official presentation date for the Find X6 series and it may take some time. Tomorrow starts the Oppo Inno Day with the Find N2 leaflets. The original Find N was also unveiled in mid-December, while the Find X5 series was announced in late February.
