Amazon Prime Day kicked off the discounts. Here’s what caught our eye on Amazon Germany: Of course, we focused on phones as that’s our forte. Note that the discounts listed are generally for the most recent low price, not necessarily the recommended price.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is 20% off, which means a 6 / 128GB drive can be yours for € 480. You can choose from all four colors and a clear silicone case for € 7.50 ( 26% discount).
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 has dropped to € 650 for an 8 / 128GB drive (38% discount) or € 700 for a 256GB drive. There are silicone protective cases for € 20 (34% discount) and more elegant leather cases for € 32 (20% discount).

For something bigger, there’s the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 – the 512GB drive dropped 17% to € 1,200. The 256GB drive costs just € 50 less. While you’re there, you might as well grab a Samsung S Pen Pro for $ 59, which is supported by the Z Fold3’s display (regular S Pens aren’t).
For those on a tight budget, the Galaxy M32 can be purchased for € 200 (31% off). The Galaxy A13 is even cheaper at € 130 (32% off). Note that this is the A13 with a Helio G80 chipset, not the one with Exynos 850.

Moving on to Xiaomi, there are several phones paired with free headphones. The Redmi Note 11 (4 / 64GB) costs 140 € (30% discount). There is also the Poco M4 Pro (4G, 6 / 128GB) for € 180 (22% discount). The Poco F3 isn’t spring chicken, but it’s still going strong, especially at € 280 (23% off for an 8 / 256GB unit). Continuing the price scale is the Poco X4 Pro for € 290 (17% discount, 8/256 GB). And if you want Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 performance, the Poco F4 GT costs € 450 (8/128 GB).

A few more offers from budget-conscious buyers. The new Realme Narzo 50i Prime (3 / 32GB) has dropped to 110 € (22% discount), the Narzo 50A Prime (4 / 64GB) has dropped to 130 € (13% discount). The Realme GT2 with Snapdragon 888 (8/128 GB) is available as a more powerful option for € 486. You can also get a tablet, the Realme Pad Mini (3/32 GB) for € 150.

There is no Mark 4 yet, but the Sony Xperia 5 III is still quite unique in the Android world. It can be yours (8/128 GB) for € 650 (28% off the RRP). If you want the larger model, the Xperia 1 III has a small discount at € 900 (12 / 256GB).

Oppo’s Find X5 series is also on sale. The flagship of the Oppo Find X5 Pro can be purchased for € 1,050 (19% discount, 12/256 GB), the regular Find X5 has dropped to € 800 (11% discount), there is also the Find X5 Lite for € 400.

Prime Day is also the best day to pick up a cheap Amazon tablet. You haven’t heard from us, but installing the Google Play Store on those is easy enough. The Kindle Fire HD 8 costs just € 40 (with 32GB of storage) and you can get the Plus version for € 60 (the Plus has an extra gig of RAM, 3GB in total). Even the largest 10 “tablets won’t make you spend a fortune, the Kindle Fire HD 10 costs € 80 (32GB), the Plus version costs € 110 (still 32GB, but with 4GB of RAM).
