There is a growing consensus that the upcoming Oppo Find N3 and OnePlus Open will bring the same hardware to different markets: the Find N3 a China exclusive, while the OnePlus Open a global foldable. That said, the display specs should be identical between the two phones.
And now, courtesy of Digital Chat Station, we know what they are. He says the Oppo Find N3 will have sharper screens than the Galaxy Z Fold5. The internal display is reportedly a 7.82-inch panel with 2268×2440 px resolution, while the overlay screen is a 6.31-inch unit with 2484×1116 px resolution with a traditional 20:9 aspect. This means that the internal screen will have a density of 426ppi, while the external one will reach 431ppi.
For reference, the internal display of the Galaxy Z Fold5 is a 7.6-inch 1812x2176px panel with around 373ppi, while the cover screen is a 6.2-inch 904x2316px 23.1:9 panel with around 401ppi. So in theory the Oppo Find N3 (maybe also the OnePlus Open) has bigger and sharper screens on both sides.
Digital Chat Station goes on to say that there will be a version with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage, and that a version with 24GB of RAM is also under consideration.
Moving on to the OnePlus Open for a second, according to Max Jambor, it will be available in two colors: Voyage Black and Emerald Eclipse.
#OnePlusOpen it may be the first truly globally available competitor to the newly launched Samsungs #GalaxyZFold5 – the new performance beast will be available in two colors: Voyage Black and Emerald Eclipse
