Last November, an Oppo smartphone with model code PHQ110 and believed to be the Oppo A98 5G was certified by China’s TENAA. Now a new version of the A98, with the model designation CPH2529, has been certified by Thailand’s NBTC, bringing it one step closer to launching outside of China.

The Thai certificate authority does not reveal anything about the CPH2529 beyond confirming 5G connectivity. However, thanks to TENAA, we know what the Chinese version will have to offer.
