OnePlus has been focusing on its mid-range offerings lately and the latest leak is in the same category: the name “OnePlus Nord 3” was spotted on the company’s Indian website by leakster Mukul Sharma.

There wasn’t much beyond the name, but we’ve heard a lot about the phone before. According to an unofficial roadmap, the device is expected to be unveiled in July. That roadmap was more or less correct on the Nord CE 2 Lite and 10R launches, it has yet to be proven correct on the Nord 2T, so take it with a grain of salt.

Either way, it is said that the specifications (of Digital chat station) suggest that the Nord 3 will be powered by the Dimensity 8100 (like the 10R) with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The phone will have a 6.7-inch display with FHD + resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

The similarities to the 10R continue with the intended camera setup: 50MP main (IMX766), 8MP ultra wide, and a 2MP depth sensor on the rear, 16MP on the front. In addition, a 4,500mAh battery with 150W fast charging.

This all sounds too much like the 10R, so it’s entirely possible that this was a case of misidentification as the OnePlus 10R has already been launched in India. Or it could be yet another rebranding: the same phone is called “Ace” in China.
