The OnePlus 11 was made official for the Chinese market less than 24 hours ago, ahead of its global introduction next month. And it seems to have already been incredibly successful – more than any previous OnePlus device.

According to OnePlus Chinese president Li Jie, the OnePlus 11 broke presale records for the brand after just two hours. The first actual sale will take place on January 9 and, at this pace, we assume it will be a resounding success – expect many units to be bought within minutes and an “out of stock” notice to be posted soon after, as is customary in the Chinese market .

OnePlus 11 breaks presale records in China, OnePlus 11 Pro will not exist

Interestingly, responding to a user on Weibo, the Chinese equivalent of Twitter, Li has pretty much openly stated that there won’t be a OnePlus 11 Pro, with the OnePlus 11 set to take over from previous years’ Pro model. Of course things can always get lost in translation, especially in translating the automatic machine variety, so take this with a grain of salt.

We wouldn’t be entirely surprised to see a OnePlus 11 Pro sooner rather than later, but we wouldn’t bet as things stand either, with the company itself claiming there’s no such device on the way.

It’s also probably too early to start speculating about a possible OnePlus 11T supposedly arriving in the second half of the year, so for now we have a feeling we should enjoy the OnePlus 11. By the way, we can’t wait to get our hands on it once it does. its international debut on 7 February.
