The Red Magic 8 Pro will arrive tomorrow, December 16, nubia revealed on its Weibo page. The brand, partially owned by ZTE, has mentioned “series”, which means that we will have more than one smartphone at the launch in China.
According to TENAA, there are two versions of the nubia Red Magic 8 Pro: one with a 5,000mAh battery and another with a 6,000mAh capacity. The smartphone has been certified by 3C with 165W fast charging, but we will probably see it combined with the smaller battery.
The larger one is bound to be the biggest power cell we’ve seen in a Red Magic smartphone, but we’re still waiting to see what fast-charging capabilities it will have. Both phones are likely to retain the “nubia Red Magic 8 Pro” moniker, with one branded as Supreme or Ultimate or similar to differentiate it.

The bigger question is what other differences these phones will have, or will it be just the battery, while the chipset will definitely be Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 on both variants.
