Nothing is implementing version 1.1.2 for Nothing OS (1) for Phone (1). It’s a minor update but it brings some useful improvements to the phone.
The always-on view feature will now have the custom schedule active by default. This means that the function will automatically turn off at night. The user can still manually change it to always be active, but it is no longer the default behavior.

This update also added an option to have the fingerprint icon appear when the display is off and you move the phone slightly. However, for whatever reason, this option does absolutely nothing on our review unit. The fingerprint sensor itself seems a bit faster after the update.
The update also claims to improve charging performance and compatibility with third-party chargers. We have not been able to confirm the improvement in charging speed and we are not sure what better compatibility with third party chargers means precisely because the phone has worked well with all the chargers we have tried.
The update also claims to fix the Bluetooth codec issue. We have not encountered this problem, so we cannot confirm if anything has changed.
The update also claims to have tweaked minor UI details and introduced general bug fixes and stability improvements.
Unfortunately, some of the other problems with the phone remain unsolved. The audio quality issues we raised in our review are still present. Face unlock is extremely unreliable and shows no improvement. Still, the phone is otherwise pretty stable and it’s good to see it gets frequent updates.
