Motorola is officially unveiling the foldable Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra at an event on June 1, but some of its subsidiaries simply couldn’t wait any longer, it seems, and have decided to put a number of billboard ads already. in nature . Case in point: Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, in the European Union.

There are already announcements for the Razr 40 Ultra on the streets of Sofia, although the big launch event is still a couple of days away.

Motorola Razr 40 Ultra ads are already appearing on billboards in Europe

As you can see, these once again confirm the name and do not hesitate to present the phone from both sides, letting us see that gigantic external screen from two different angles. This is sure to become this phone’s biggest differentiating feature, as it simply has no competition, either from Samsung, or from Oppo.

The Razr 40 Ultra will be called that in most markets, but not in the US, it seems, as it will be called Razr+ there for some reason. According to past leaks and rumors, it will come with a 6.9-inch 1080×2400 165Hz internal screen, a 3.6-inch 165Hz 1066×1056 external screen, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset at the helm (that’s not a typo, is last year’s SoC), 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The main camera is a 12 MP f/1.5 snapper with 1.4μm pixels and optical image stabilization, while next to it is a 13 MP f/2.2 ultrawide with 1.12μm pixels. Embedded in the punch-hole in the foldable screen is a 32MP selfie snapper with an f/2.4 aperture.

The biggest letdown here is the meager 3,800mAh battery that definitely won’t win any endurance awards. Charging is wired up to 33W, with a brick in the box, and there’s also unspecified support for wireless charging.

The Razr 40 Ultra will retail at around €1,199 in Europe and will be offered in Infinity Black, Glacier Blue and Viva Magenta.
