Android 13 is now official and smartphone makers are jumping on the hype train to announce their public beta. Xiaomi’s MIUI account posted on Twitter that Android 13 beta is now available for Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro smartphones with global ROM.
The first 200 users for each model will have the opportunity to test the new operating system on a first-come, first-served basis.

All applicants should follow a special Telegram channel for details on the OTA update. Furthermore, they should be on the MIUI Global stable ROM and must be Mi Community members with an appropriate Mi account. Xiaomi also reminded users to back up their data.
The update for Xiaomi 12 is version 13.0.4.0 TLCMIXM, while Xiaomi 12 Pro is MIUI 13.0.4.0 TLBMIXM. It weighs 4.23 GB and also carries the related security patches. It is worth mentioning that the Mi Community is currently not available in India, Xiaomi’s largest market.
