Lenovo has launched at least five Tab M10 tablets in the last three years with no clear rationale in the naming. The company has finally decided to move on and is working on a Tab M11.

According to leaked renderings and specifications, the Pioneer will be an entry level tablet. The leak claims that the screen will be 11 inches while the battery capacity will be 7,040 mAh, allowing for 10 hours of video playback on a charge.

Technically the display of the device will be a 10.95″ LCD with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and brightness of 400 nits. In the frame there will be an 8MP camera, while the rear will have “8MP/13MP”, which means that different markets may have a different configuration.

The chipset is said to be Mediatek G88 paired with three different memory versions: 4/64 GB, 4/128 GB and 8/128 GB, all with a micro SD slot. One of the selling points of this tablet may be Lenovo’s promise for future updates: it will ship with Android 13 and will receive OS updates to Android 15 and security patches until January 2028.
