Oppo is used to churning out Series A mid-ranges like there’s no tomorrow, and the next installment in the series will be the A77s, rumored to be launching in India very, very soon. He was seen in the renders leaked a few days ago when many of the specs of him were also made public.

Now, it looks like someone in possession of a prototype decided to have it run Geekbench, and you can probably imagine what followed: there is a record of its run in the benchmark database and, as usual, this reveals (or rather, in this case, confirmation) a couple of specifications.

Surprising anyone who has read our previous article on this phone, it turns out that the Oppo A77s will be powered by the Snapdragon 680 SoC. It will come with 8GB of RAM and boot Android 12, no doubt with ColorOS 12.1 on top.

It scored 380 single-core and multi-core score of 1,657 in Geekbench 5. According to the aforementioned spec leak, the Oppo A77s has a 6.56-inch HD + LCD touchscreen, 50MP main rear camera paired with a 2MP depth sensor, an 8MP selfie snapper, 128GB of storage and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
