iQOO Neo9 Pro arrives with Dimensity 9300 SoC and 144Hz screen, Neo9 comes with it

vivo’s iQOO has added two new members to its Neo smartphone lineup: iQOO Neo9 and iQOO Neo9 Pro.

The iQOO Neo9 Pro is powered by the Dimensity 9300 SoC, runs OriginOS 4 based on Android 14, and comes with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The smartphone also has a Q1 chip at the helm to enhance the gaming experience by offering a stable frame rate. Additionally, it features a 6,043 mm² VC liquid cooling chamber and a dual-layer capillary fuel pump to aid heat dissipation for long-lasting performance.

The Neo9 Pro packs a 6.78″ 144Hz 2,800×1,260 pixel LTPO AMOLED screen with 1,400 nits peak brightness and HDR10+ support. iQOO claims it has “wet hand control,” allowing users to use the screen when wet or sweaty. The display also has a centered punch-hole for the 16MP selfie camera and a fingerprint reader underneath for biometric authentication.

On the back we have a dual camera setup consisting of 50MP primary (with OIS) and 50MP ultrawide units. These use the same sensors used by the vivo X100’s primary and ultrawide cameras. The iQOO Neo9 Pro also has a 360º antenna design for better signal reception and connectivity.

Powering the entire package is a 5,160mAh battery with 120W charging support. The iQOO Neo9 Pro also features stereo speakers, NFC, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4.

The iQOO Neo9 is basically the Neo9 Pro powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip and features an 8MP ultrawide camera instead of 50MP. It also features Bluetooth 5.3 instead of 5.4 and different memory configurations.

The IQOO Neo9 and iQOO Neo9 Pro are offered in three colors: blue, black and red-white, with the latter being thicker (8.34mm versus 7.9mm) and heavier (196g versus 190g) than the others two.

Both smartphones are available for pre-order in China via vivo’s official Chinese website, with sales scheduled to begin on December 30. You can check the table below for their prices.
