A new batch of rumors about next year’s iPhone 16 series is here courtesy of noted tech analyst Jeff Pu, detailing some of the major improvements coming to the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max. Next year’s iPhone Pros will get the Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, compared to iPhone 15 Pro models compatible with Wi-Fi 6e. The 16 Pro and Pro Max will also receive the Qualcomm Snapdragon X75 modem which should provide faster 5G download speeds than the X70 found on the iPhone 15 generation, as well as better battery life.

Both 16 Pro models will receive upgraded 48MP ultrawide cameras, and the 16 Pro is expected to get the 12MP tetraprismatic lens found on the iPhone 15 Pro Max with its 5x optical zoom. The new zoom sensor will be fitted due to the larger size of the upcoming iPhone Pros: the 16 Pro is expected to have a 6.3-inch screen while the 16 Pro Max will likely have a 6.9-inch panel.

As for the standard iPhone 16, Jeff Pu believes it will bring a less powerful version of the A17 Pro chip found on the 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max with 8GB of RAM and the same dual camera as the iPhone 15 and a small upgrade to the Wi -Fi. Fi 6e.
