Realme has teased a brand new product line called Note. Later, a leak revealed that the Realme Note 1 is set to compete with the Infinix Note 30 and Redmi Note 13, which have an OLED screen and a large battery with fast charging.
The Realme Note 1 is expected to launch in January 2024 and the front panel will be a 6.67-inch OLED with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. It will also have an under-display fingerprint scanner and a front camera 16 MP.
Speaking of cameras, there will be three on the back: 108MP + 8MP + 2MP, and the entire device will be powered by a Dimensity 7050 chipset. The battery is listed with a 5,000mAh capacity and 67W wired charging.
Looking at these specifications, it seems that Realme Note 1 will be an alternative to Realme 11 Pro with an additional camera. Apparently, the phone will aim to fill the small gap between the 11 Pro and 11 Pro+ in an already overcrowded mid-range market and provide a compromise for consumers not willing to spend a fortune on a Pro+ phone.
There’s also the possibility of positioning an 11 Pro level phone as a more affordable alternative to the 12 Pro duo that arrives later this month.
The possibilities are endless and we have to wait for the announcement to know the real intentions of the Realme brand and its new Note line, a totally original name also used by Samsung, Xiaomi, vivo, Lenovo, Infinix, Meizu and Ulefone.
