According to the analyst, Apple may increase RAM on its base iPhone 16 models this year Jeff Pu. The new information comes from Pu’s research note for Haitong International Securities and details that all iPhone 16 series models, including the Pro versions, will come with 8GB of RAM. This is a notable step forward for the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus as their predecessors still use 6GB of RAM. Additionally, non-Pro iPhone 16 models will get support for faster Wi-Fi 6E connectivity, another feature already present on the iPhone 15 Pro models.
Turning attention to the iPhone 16 Pro models, Pu suggests that Apple will use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X75 5G modem instead of the X70 while the faster and more efficient X75 will be limited to Pro models.
