The Realme GT5 240W is an exercise in excess. It has 1TB of storage and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip paired with 24GB of RAM – yes, 24! Inside is a 4,600mAh battery that requires a whopping 240W of charging. It’s not the first time we’ve seen this crazy number, mind you, the GT3 did it first. Realme claims that the GT5 can recover 20% battery in 80 seconds. We will test and test it 100% full time in a separate article.

The box also has a sturdy USB-C cable and pouch.

The camera module and SuperVOOC charging LED indicators share an island that curves downward towards the top and bottom of the phone. The whole thing looks like liquid metal and feels silky smooth. There is not a single sharp corner to touch.
