Samsung has been using the purple color for multiple generations of Galaxy S, for example the Galaxy S8 Orchid Gray and the Galaxy S9 Lilac Purple. Now the Galaxy S22 (only the small one) receives the purple treatment with a new shade dubbed “Bora Purple”.
The new “Bora Purple” color for the Samsung Galaxy S22
“Bora” is the Korean word for “purple”, so the color is called “purple violet”. But let’s not focus on that and instead let’s take a closer look. The glass has a matte finish, while the polished aluminum frame is painted in the same color.
This sets it apart from the Violet color, which was one of Samsung.com’s original exclusive colors (the one has a gold bezel and camera bump). It’s closer to rose gold, which also matches the hue of the glass and frame

The Samsung Galaxy S22 in Bora Purple will be available on August 10, the same day the Galaxy Z Flip4 and Z Fold4 will be announced. The new colorway will be available through Samsung.com and select retailers. In will have the same price as the other colors, which is € 850 in Europe and $ 800 in the United States.
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro (which will also be part of the Unpacked event on the 10th) is rumored to be available in a matching Bora Purple color.
