The vivo iQOO Z7 5G is official and will go on sale as an Indian exclusive on March 21st.
Upfront, the iQOO Z7 has a 6.38-inch 1080p AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and an advertised 1300-nit peak brightness. There is a fingerprint scanner under the display – another highlight for the price category.
The iQOO Z7 carries a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset, which is the fastest in this price segment, surpassing 485k on AnTuTu. You can bundle the Dimensity chip with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM.
The iQOO Z7 claims an optically stabilized 64MP main camera. The other camera is a dedicated macro.
The iQOO Z7 comes with a 5,000mAh battery with 44W FlashCharge that will return 50% in just 25 minutes.
The iQOO Z7 runs Funtouch OS 13, based on Android 13, and vivo has promised three years of monthly security updates and two years of Android updates.
The iQOO Z7 is available in Norway Blue and Pacific Night at a special introductory price of INR 17,499 ($210) for the 6/128GB model and INR 18,499 ($225) for the 8/ 128GB, eligible if paying with selected debit and credit cards from HDFC and ICICI banks. Sales begin at 1pm on March 21 via Amazon and the iQOO website. The regular starting price is INR 18,999 ($230).
