Honor Magci6 Pro will be equipped with a 160MP periscope zoom camera, not 200MP. The information comes from the reliable tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo. Honor has reportedly decided against the 200MP imager and has opted for the 160MP option.

Meanwhile, the insider sheds light on the OV50K sensor that Magic6 will preview for its main camera. It turns out that it won’t be a 1-inch sensor but rather around 1/1.3-inch, which is about the same size as the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s main 200MP sensor. According to Digital Chat Station, the OV50K will make solid images enhanced by LOFIC technology – capacitor-based CMOS with side overflow integration, basically a stacked sensor, similar to that of the Xperia 1 V and OnePlus Open (Oppo Find N3).

The Honor Magic6 may debut in China soon with a global release later. Its predecessor arrived in March this year.

We know little about the device, other than the fact that it will have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with artificial intelligence.
