Let’s take a better look at Nothing Ear (2), which first surfaced via render last year.

The Nothing Ear (2), which company CEO Carl Pei said would arrive in the second half of 2023, appears to have mostly kept the design. One notable change is the placement of the noise-cancelling microphone from the back of the earbuds to the side. Otherwise, the design of the buds themselves and their in-ear shape appear unchanged.
The Nothing Ear (2) is said to have support for dual connectivity (aka using the buds with two devices at the same time). There will also be custom active noise cancellation, the option to optimize the strength of the ANC. Finally, Nothing will add an advanced equalizer, so users can dial in the exact settings they want.
