There’s already little we don’t know about the Galaxy S23 series, but some details are still leaking out. For starters, Evan Blass dug up images showing the hero’s color for each phone. These are clearly meant to lead consumers to the pre-order pages once they go live.

Botanic Green is the favorite color of Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. As for its younger siblings, the Galaxy S23 favors Cotton Flower, while the Galaxy S23+ favors Misty Lilac. From what we’ve seen so far, the three models will come in the same four colorways (the fourth is the standard Phantom Black), see more images here. By the way, Samsung.com usually has some exclusive colorways, these four are for carriers and resellers.

Moving on to some hardware details, the displays on all three Galaxy S23 models will offer a peak brightness of 1,750 nits. The outgoing Galaxy S22 Ultra and S22+ can also hit 1,750 nits, but the little S22 is capped at 1,300 nits.

Finally, a list of the image sensors that will be used by the Galaxy S23 Ultra. It is already clear that the 200MP ISOCELL HP2 will replace the 108MP HM3 in the main module. The ultra wide angle switches from one 12 MP sensor to another (from Sony IMX563 to IMX564), the 3x and 10x telephoto modules will continue to use the same sensor as before (IMX754). And as you may have heard by now, the selfie camera is dropping to 12MP with an ISOCELL 3LU replacing the GH1 (presumably the S23 and S23+ will use the same sensor).

In case you missed it, today the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s camera samples showed off its low-light photography prowess.

The Galaxy S23 series will be unveiled next week and pre-orders should start immediately (well, you can reserve a unit already, but this is more a case of securing an early bird discount rather than an actual pre-order).
