Huawei’s current most premium smartwatches, namely the Watch 3, 3 Pro, GT 3, GT 3 Pro, and GT Runner, are now receiving the latest HarmonyOS 3 update globally. The new operating system offers a couple of new features and hidden optimizations. Supposedly, smoother operation and even longer battery life.
Probably the most notable change we’ve noticed is the new notification handling. Notifications are displayed better, and quick replies are available in some apps.
Previously exclusive to China, Huawei is now making the respiratory health app available globally. It takes into account various health indicators, including body temperature and breathing rate, to try to indicate any problems you may have.
Custom watch faces are now available to match your daily wear along with the Kaleidoscope watch face style with a custom image on the watch face. An updated flashlight app lets you choose different colors to light up your screen instead of the standard white.
The update has been seeding for about a week now and more and more units are getting the notification. It shouldn’t be long before it reaches all units worldwide.
