Tecno has just presented the Camon 20 Premier 5G with a premium design featuring leather and ceramic on the back. Tecno says the build is premium and “free from the brittleness of plastic,” and each phone requires 56 hours of polishing and 576 total hours to build.
The back panel is covered with leather with a lychee pattern, while the camera module is made of nanocrystalline ceramic. The phone is available in Serenity Blue or Dark Welkin (black).
Tecno Camon 20 Premier 5G
The Camon 20 Premier 5G packs an interesting camera setup. It starts with a 50MP RGBW main camera with a 23mm f/1.8 lens and sensor-shift OIS. Then there’s the 108MP 13mm f/2.2 ultrawide camera with autofocus and macro capabilities.
Far less useful is the 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor and laser AF sensor. At the front is a 32MP f/2.4 fixed-focus selfie camera.
Tecno opted for the new MediaTek Dimensity 8050 chip for the Camon 20 Premier 5G. It features four Cortex-A78 cores and four Cortex-A55 drives. The chip is paired with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of onboard storage.
Upfront, there is a 6.67-inch 2400x1080px AMOLED with 120Hz refresh rate and a built-in fingerprint scanner.
The Tecno Camon 20 Premier 5G has a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W charging. Price and availability will be detailed later.
