As per tradition, Google’s Feature Drop update, along with the March security patch, should have arrived yesterday, the first Monday of every month. For some reason it didn’t happen, but someone on Reddit shared the highlight features that are expected to come for the latest Google Pixel phones and Pixel Watch.

Google's March feature release for Pixel devices is leaking online

The Pixel 6 series will get the new and faster Night Sight, introduced with the Pixel 7 series. Pixel 4a and later phones will finally get the Direct My Call feature which lists all menu options on calls without having to listen to everything.

The Magic Eraser will be made available to all Pixel phones, although it’s already available to Google One subscribers, including iPhone users. A new Health Connect app will enable sharing of fitness data across multiple fitness apps so you can have all your data in one place.

Finally, Pixel Watch and Pixel 5 or later phones get drop detection. When your Pixel Watch detects a fall, it’ll check if you’re responsive, and if you’re not, it’ll automatically call for help. The algorithm is trained to recognize even falls, to avoid false alarms.

Please note that these are only highlighted features listed in marketing materials, not a full change log.
