Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 15 series next month, but we’ve already heard several rumors about next year’s iPhone 16 range, with the latest one claiming an upgrade to the ultrawide camera.

This information comes from Jeff Pu, a technology analyst at Hong Kong investment firm Haitong International Securities. In a research note, Pu says the Apple iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will feature 48MP ultrawide cameras. The main cameras on last year’s iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max already use a 48MP sensor, and it looks like the ultrawide camera will get the same update next year.

Additionally, Pu said that the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are also expected to support Wi-Fi 7, while the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max are expected to only come with Wi-Fi 6E.

With the launch of the iPhone 16 more than a year away, it’s best to take all the information and rumors about it circulating the internet with a grain of salt as plans can always change.
