Nothing has released the Open Beta 2 of its Nothing OS 2.5 for the phone (2). The new version of the operating system is based on Android 14 and brings improvements to the Glyph interface along with other improvements.
The Glyph Progress integration supports Google Calendar and can now countdown. The Glyph Timer can be opened via the lock screen and supports time presets, so you can set any duration you want. There’s also a new glyph animation when using NFC.
Other improvements include more options for double-pressing the power button, Predictive Back supports all Nothing apps, improved three-finger scroll reliability, updated status bar icons, as well as the usual general bug fixes and performance improvements.
Nothing is reportedly aiming to release Nothing OS 2.5 before the end of the year.
