Seven Knights 2 is set 20 years ahead of the events of the first game and brings good graphics and graphics, a well-written story and decent action to the table. Players can play in units of four and have the option to switch to any of the four characters on the battlefield at any time. Most of the fighting is about attack button spamming, but that’s not unexpected for most of these action RPGs. The other three characters on your team are controlled by AI which works really well. When you move or run away from a fight to recover, they too will follow you around.

The storyline is pretty well thought out and the cutscenes are very well animated with a high production value, so it’s worth delving into the story and not something players will have to skip so often. It adds a lot more substance to the game than just doing all the grind. The special attacks are also very well animated and detailed. Overall, the gameplay is pretty fun and timely.

The animations are also done very well and the audio fits very well. Voice acting is also decent. No ads, but the Gacha system makes gambling a worse cash grab

The game has no commercials, which is a pretty good element. However, the gacha system is the worst element in this game. Monetization is by far the worst feature and it steals money. Grinding without investing money in the game is a lot harder than it would be if you pumped money into the game, so it’s not that friendly to F2P players. Characters, equipment and pets are the main elements of the gacha with a pity system that gives players a rather low chance of getting a rarer item in the draw.

Overall, Seven Knights 2 is a well-designed, fun and respectable sequel to Seven Knights. Aside from the bad monetization, the story, gameplay, graphics, sound effects and controls have been taken care of by the developers and make the game fun.
