History
The story of Devil May Cry 5 begins shortly after Devil May Cry 4 ends. A young man named “V” shows up at Devil May Cry’s office. He asks the demon hunter Dante for help in ending various demon attacks around the world. Dante is not very enthusiastic about the assignment, but accepts it anyway with the supposedly well-paid job.
He is ready for a rude awakening, as there is more than just a demonic problem to fight. A powerful demon named Urizen has his sights set on reclaiming the world on his behalf. Demon hunters Nero and Dante must work together with V to find a way to stop Urizen.
Of course, there are more than a few surprises along the way to thrill fans (especially one that has to do with V’s mysterious origins). The narrative envelops the many open questions of the Devil May Cry saga in some very interesting ways.
