Cookies, the recipe for the Made in USA biscuit

American cookies are delicious cookies with chocolate chips and rich in butter. I personally love them and I decided to share this recipe with you so you can enjoy it too. They are simple to prepare, but a stand mixer or electric whisk will be of great help. We have also thought of a gluten free version for you, ideal for all those intolerant to gluten. For the dark version, on the other hand, you can replace 20 g of flour with 20 g of unsweetened cocoa or prepare chocolate chip cookies with shortcrust pastry. In short, these biscuits are really versatile and excellent in milk or as a snack for the little ones.

  • 00 flour: 260 gr
  • baking soda: 1/2 tsp

Preparation

1

With an electric mixer or a planetary mixer fitted with a wire whisk, beat the butter with the two sugars in a bowl until you get a frothy mixture.

2

Also add the whole egg and the yolk, always mixing with the whips.

3

Add the sifted flour with the salt, baking soda and vanilla and continue mixing.

4

Finally add the chocolate chips, mixing now with a wooden spoon.

5

Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for at least half an hour, then form balls about the size of a golf ball and place them well spaced on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

6

Cook at 170 ° C for about 15 minutes. Check them often last so they don’t dry out.
