ZTE has announced a pair of Blade series smartphones with the Blade A72 and Blade A52 in Malaysia. Both phones feature a Unisoc chipset, 13MP main cameras, and larger batteries. Blade A72 offers a 6.7-inch LCD with HD + resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, while Blade A52 gets a 6.5-inch HD + LCD with a 60Hz refresh rate. Both phones they house 5MP selfie cameras inside a teardrop notch. They also have the same 13MP main cam on the back along with two 2MP auxiliary modules.

Both phones also share the same Unisoc SC9863A chipset although the Blade A72 has 3GB of RAM while the A52 only has 2GB of RAM. The built-in memory on both units is 64GB and can be expanded via the microSD slot. The software side is covered by the Android 11 operating system with ZTE’s MiFovor 11 on top. The Blade A72 packs a 6,000mAh battery while the A52 is content with a 5,000mAh cell.

ZTE Blade A72 is available in Space Gray and Sky Blue colors and retails for MYR 499 ($ ​​114). Blade A52 is available in Silk Gold and Space Gray and costs MYR 399 ($ ​​91).
