Over the past month, Twitter internally tested a feature that allowed you to edit tweets, and today it’s finally available, but there’s a few small presses.
First of all, you can only edit your tweets if you are a Twitter Blue subscriber. This was known from the first time the company made fun of him. However, you should also note that tweet editing is currently only available in Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
Now that Edit is available in Twitter Blue Labs, here’s what you can expect
do you see that little icon? is there to let you know that the Tweet has been edited pic.twitter.com/Av6vZYuVeO

The feature will soon be available in the US, but it hasn’t been mentioned so far that it has become available for those who don’t sign up for Twitter Blue. It may eventually get there, but for starters it will be an added bonus to the subscription service.
Additionally, a version history is available on each edited Tweet so you know what has changed pic.twitter.com/E3eZSj7NsL

Interestingly, a version history is viewable for each edited tweet, so you know exactly what has changed. It has certainly taken Twitter a long time to introduce this feature, which has pretty much been a staple of many other social media services – it may just be a case of “better late than never”.
