Almost a month after its debut in China, Xiaomi launched the Smart Band 7 version of its famous saerie Bands on the global market.
The new model offers the largest screen ever seen for a 1.62-inch Xiaomi Smart Band. The AMOLED panel has a resolution of 490x192px and now supports the Always-on Display (AOD) which was not available on its predecessor. Another new feature is the automatic SpO2 monitoring which will alert you if your blood oxygen level drops below 90%.
Smart Band 7 maintains a nominal battery life of 14 days and charges via the same two-pin magnetic charger. Mi Band 7 comes with over 100 watch faces and over 110 auto-sensing sports modes. As for health tracking, you get 24/7 heart rate measurements as well as sleep and stress tracking along with female health tracking. The smartband is 5ATM water resistant and can track your swims smoothly.
The NFC version of the Smart Band 7 will remain a China exclusive for now, although rumors suggest it will eventually hit global markets later in partnership with Mastercard. Xiaomi also revealed that it has sold over 1 million Smart Band 7 units in China, a new record.
Xiaomi Band 7 comes in a variety of color options with solid black, blue, ivory, orange, olive and pink silicone straps, as well as several camouflage and neon options.
Retail is set at € 59.99 although a special early bird offer brings the price down to € 49.99. Buyers from Western Europe can already place their orders, while those from other regions will have to wait a little longer.
