Xiaomi is preparing to release its Redmi Note 13 lineup on Thursday in China with at least three entries: Note 13, Note 13 Pro and Note 13 Pro+ and now we have confirmation on the chipset for Note 13 Pro. Xiaomi’s next midranger will debut with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, Qualcomm’s latest mid-range chipset announced over the weekend.

Qualcomm’s latest 7-series chipset is made on a 4nm process and features an eight-core CPU with four high-performance cores clocked at 2.4GHz and four efficiency units whirring at 1.9GHz. The 7s Gen 2 is a step down from the 7+ Gen 2 in terms of connectivity with a less capable FastConnect 6700 connectivity system. Elsewhere, the Redmi Note 13 Pro (Xiaomi 2312CRAD3C) will feature up to 16GB of RAM as per the listing and will boot Android 13, presumably with MIUI 14 on top.

Xiaomi also confirmed that the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will launch with the Dimensity 7200-Ultra chipset which leaves the regular Note 13 as the only missing link ahead of the announcement.
