As promised, Xiaomi today unveiled the Redmi Note 11R as the latest addition to its ever-growing Note 11 series.
However, as expected, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11R is not a completely new smartphone. It’s a version of the global Poco M4 5G (the Indian model has better cameras) with up to 8GB of RAM and higher base memory. The Poco M4 5G is available in 4GB / 64GB and 6GB / 128GB memory options, while the Redmi Note 11R is offered in 4GB / 128GB, 6GB / 128GB and 8GB / 128GB configurations. . The smartphone also has a dedicated microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 1TB.
The Redmi Note 11R is powered by the Dimensity 700 SoC and runs the Android 12-based MIUI 13 out of the box. It’s built around a 6.58-inch FullHD + 90Hz LCD display with a notch for the 5MP selfie camera.
The smartphone’s textured rear panel has a camera island that extends across the full width. It houses a 13MP main camera and a 2MP depth unit, with the flash positioned between the camera modules. You may also notice that the Poco branding is now replaced by the Redmi branding.

The Redmi Note 11R comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and supports 5G networks. It contains a 5,000mAh battery that draws power through a USB-C port up to 18W. However, the supplied adapter only supports 10W charging.
The Redmi Note 11R is offered in gray, black and blue colors (there is no yellow option like the Poco M4 5G) and is already available for purchase in China via Xiaomi’s official Chinese website.

The 4GB / 128GB model is priced at CNY 1,099 ($ 154 / € 157), while the 6GB / 128GB variant costs CNY 1,199 ($ 168 / € 171). And you’ll have to shell out CNY 1,399 ($ 196 / € 200) if you want to purchase the 8GB / 128GB version.
